The Gamification of New Orleans
I'm using photogrammetry and augmented reality (AR) to turn New Orleans into a living game through my mobile RPG, "The Solace of 7" (So7). Photogrammetry allows me to create precise 3D models of the city's landmarks and sculptures, making them digitally interactive and ultra-realistic. Augmented reality brings these models to life, overlaying them onto the real world, which lets players unlock historical narratives and mysteries by visiting actual locations. Each significant site ties into the stories of seven notorious characters representing the deadly sins, blending local lore with engaging gameplay to educate and entertain players.
